When Ted Koppel Dreams, It Looks Like This

(Not Safe for Work)

Many thanks to reader "dt" for sharing.

Meanwhile, tomorrow morning, if you channel surf carefully you will be able to see,  arrayed on "respectable" and "serious" American politicalnetwork teevee, Joe Scarborough, Peggy Noonan, David "Even David Brooks" Brooks, David Gergen and...wait for it...

...wait...for...it...

...Ann Coulter.

This will be  Ms. Coulter's  third return engagement on "respectable" and "serious" American political network teevee this year, without anyone being rude enough to mention her day job as slandering, bomb-throwing, race-baiting shrike to the unsuspecting audience.

Because that "mainstreaming Right wing crazy" dollar is a very good dollar.

Because Both Sides.

This isn't a case for centrism, just an observation, based on personal experience. The rightwing base is angry and hurt because they've been deceived by GOP leaders. The left is angry and hurt because they've been deceived by Democrats.
Washington corporists are playing 'good cop, bad cop', and so everyone in the 99% gets hurt. I suppose it's better to vote for the candidate who is at least portraying the 'good cop', providing he or she is a method actor who might be changed by their role.
The thing is, being angry because you know the truth is just as stressful as being angry because you're a lying, racist sack of shit. Ted Koppel has a point. So does Jesus Christ, the only way to get out of the 'anger trap' is to do unto your enemies as you would have them do unto you. That means always telling the truth, calmly and rationally, without rancor.

Or you might see Newt "race-baiting, divorce-loving" Gingrich rolled out to do the bidding of his obscenely wealthy masters on the Conservative propaganda dissemination machine known as "Meet The Press".

To be accurate, Zimmerman did utter one "shit" in that song. But yeah, no "fucks" so it can't be DG's alto (sic) ego.
