The #Shitcoin Bubble Bursts

From CNN:
Trump cancels Singapore summit in letter to Kim Jong Un

President Donald Trump will not meet North Korean leader Kim Jong Un next month for what would have been a historic diplomatic summit, he announced in a letter to Kim released by the White House Thursday morning...

So President Stupid just got pantsed in front of the whole world by a blood-drunk, half-bright adolescent lunatic who rules a third world shitpile.

Well I have worn the soles out of my last pair of "We Fucking Told You So" dancing shoes, so let's just stipulate that A) this will not make the slightest difference to the reprogrammable meatbags of the Republican base because, B) by next week it will be completely forgotten by them because, C)  Spygate/Benghaaaazi/Emails/Seth Rich/!
Behold, a Tip Jar!

Good afternoon, Mr. Glass.

For your wedding anniversary, you should make one of those customizable cards with things that your marriage to Ms. Gal has outlasted. Add this to the list. :)

Be seeing you.

By far a much better investment than your pillow case.

And, it will unclutter that pillow case for more guns and ammo.

That letter.

In diplomatic language, whether you "enthusiastically" or "strongly" support a measure has meaning.
Whether you "suggest", or "ask" for a policy to be "considered" or "discussed" is all different.
When someone swears angrily during a meeting and storms out of a room, the report will read: "the representative from X asked that the group to temporarily postpone the discussion so that he could produce a paper to the committee which reflects the economic consequences the proposal would have on his region."

The reason for this is not to play at tea ceremony etiquette. It allows conversations to continue even in anger. It keeps people from backing themselves into corners, or being shoved there. It allows flexibility and reconsideration. It neither publicly credits or discredits language before it becomes action. It keeps discussion as impersonal as possible, since the topics involved aren't personal issues, but global ones. It keeps things moving. It keeps things careful.

It helps to avoid political humiliation, escalation of differences, and ultimately, war.

My own personal "crazy uncle liberty" pointed out to me that since Obama got a peace prize for "doing nothing," Trump is still in the running for his.
